Ashley Cox, LPC, Registered Play Therapist
Director of Mental Health and Administration / Mental Health Therapist

Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist with a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from John Brown University, where she specialized in Play Therapy. She has been working in the mental health field since 2010 and became a licensed counselor in 2014. Ashley has experience across a range of treatment settings, including outpatient clinics, residential facilities, and group homes.
With a strong foundation in empathy and patience, Ashley is passionate about creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space for clients to grow and heal. She specializes in working with children and families and holds certification in Infant Mental Health. Her clinical training includes modalities such as Play Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Technology-Assisted Counseling.
Ashley works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment issues, and behavioral concerns such as anger and aggression. She is especially passionate about the therapeutic power of play and its ability to help children express themselves and process their experiences in meaningful ways.
Outside of her clinical work, Ashley enjoys crafting, watching true crime documentaries, and spending time in nature. She’s also a proud fur mom to her 14-year-old Chihuahua, Lily, and 2-year-old Pittie, Loki.
