  • Play Therapy
  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

A Holistic, Collaborative Model
Mental health doesn’t exist in isolation—and neither do our services. At Emerge, our mental health therapists collaborate closely with our occupational and speech therapy teams to provide truly holistic care. We believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms, and empowering clients to build resilience, strengthen relationships, and live meaningful, fulfilling lives.
Mental Health Therapy at EmergeAt Emerge Therapy Services, we provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for children, teens, and adults. Our goal is to support emotional well-being at every stage of life by creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore challenges, develop healthy coping strategies, and thrive.
Who We Serve
We offer mental health therapy across the lifespan, tailoring our approach to meet the developmental and emotional needs of each age group:
Children (Ages 3–12)
Young children often express themselves through behavior and play rather than words. Our therapists use play therapy and parent-child interventions to help children explore emotions, build regulation skills, and improve behavior. We work closely with caregivers to ensure progress continues at home and in school.
Common concerns addressed in childhood:
  • Emotional regulation and big feelings
  • Anxiety, fears, or separation issues
  • Aggression or behavioral challenges
  • Social skills and peer relationships
  • Trauma or significant life changes (e.g., divorce, loss)
Teens & Adolescents (Ages 13–17)
Adolescence is a time of major transition—emotionally, socially, and developmentally. Our therapists provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for teens to process their experiences, strengthen their identity, and learn skills to navigate life’s ups and downs.
Common concerns addressed in teens:
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Self-esteem and body image
  • Stress related to school or peer pressure
  • Identity development and life transitions
  • Trauma, grief, or family issues
  • Self-harm or suicidal thoughts (with safety-focused care)
Adults (Ages 18+)
We offer individual therapy for adults navigating a wide range of challenges—from stress and burnout to past trauma and relationship issues. Therapy is tailored to each individual’s needs and may include mindfulness strategies, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, or talk-based approaches to support growth and healing.
Common concerns addressed in adults:
  • Anxiety, depression, or mood disorders
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Relationship issues or parenting stress
  • Grief and life transitions
  • Self-worth and personal growth
  • Burnout and work-life balance

Our ApproachWe believe therapy should be personalized, collaborative, and grounded in trust. Our licensed therapists are trained in a variety of evidence-based methods, including:
  • Play Therapy
  • Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT)
  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
  • Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
  • Technology-Assisted Teletherapy
We also value close communication with families and caregivers (when appropriate) to support lasting progress beyond the therapy room.
Integrated, Whole-Person Care

At Emerge, we believe emotional wellness is part of the bigger picture. That’s why our mental health therapists work hand-in-hand with our Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy teams to provide truly integrated, whole-person care.
Together, we help our clients not just feel better—but live better.
