Harriett is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Missouri State University. She then completed her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri. Harriett has experience in addressing a wide range of speech and language disorders, delays, and differences in both pediatrics and adults, including: - Voice and Resonance - Speech and Articulation - Language - Literacy Intervention (e.g., dyslexia) - Autism Spectrum Disorder - Genetic Disorders (e.g., Down Syndrome) and Genetic Comorbidities (e.g., Cleft Palate) - Neurological Disorders (e.g., Aphasia, Dysarthria, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Dementia) - Fluency Disorders - Feeding and Swallowing - Social Skills and Pragmatics - AAC Consulting and Training Harriett believes in creating a fun, engaging, and collaborative environment. She is passionate about the diversity of her career and chooses not to specialize in a particular area or disorder. Instead, she uses her full knowledge of Speech and Language Pathology to help, educate, and change lives, regardless of age, disorder, disability, or difference. In her free time, Harriett enjoys listening to music, playing video games, playing the guitar, cuddling with her cats, dancing, and spending time with friends and family!
