My Therapy Style
I truly believe people have the need to be heard, understood, validated and supported in their mental health journey. I am very blessed to be given the opportunity to help people heal, grow and gain insight into themselves, as well as others, and to enable them to build strong, healthy relationships. I feel that it is very important for a person to have a trusting, nurturing and safe relationship with their therapist to enable them to express every thought, feeling and behavior honestly. I strive to meet clients where they are and to work with compassion, understanding and acceptance. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Person- Centered Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy to achieve the changes needed to empower my clients to make the changes they need to meet their mental health goals.
